Our pastor, Dr. John, has challenged everyone at Delano Baptist to read through the Bible this year. A reading plan is listed on the church calendar each month, but other reading plans are available on the internet or at your local public library.

Get to know His Word, read your Bible today!

We appreciate Frank Hobart, Awana representative, for his informative and enthusiastic talk on Awana. This program helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. The founders of Awana derived the Awana name from the first letters of "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed", taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.

Delano's Awana leaders will begin their training soon and our Awana program kickoff is planned for later this spring.

If you are interested in helping with this program, please contact

Teresa Allen.
